Founded in 1922, the IRBV brings together a community of researchers, students, and professionals working on a wide variety of topics related to plants and the environment.

Mila is a world-renowned artificial intelligence (AI) research center based in Montreal. Mila now brings together hundreds of researchers, students, and industry partners, making it one of the largest academic AI centers in the world.

Mila is affiliated with the University of Montreal, McGill University, Polytechnique Montreal, and HEC Montreal, and plays a central role in the Quebec and Canadian innovation ecosystem.

The CIUSSS (Integrated University Health and Social Services Center) du Nord-de-l’Île-de-Montréal plays a central role in the health and well-being of communities in the northern part of the city, while also serving as a center for training and innovation at the heart of Quebec’s healthcare system.

The RUISSS at the University of Montreal (Integrated University Health and Social Services Network) is a coordination and collaboration structure that connects the University of Montreal to a large portion of Quebec’s health and social services network..

The RUISSS aims to promote the integration of care, teaching, research, and evaluation across a vast territory served by several health institutions, including CIUSSS, CISSS, hospitals, and affiliated clinics.

The FRQSC (Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture) is one of three research funds administered by the Quebec government. Its mission is to support and promote research in the humanities, social sciences, arts, and culture, while contributing to Quebec’s social, cultural, and economic development.

Under the authority of the Ministry of Higher Education, the FRQSC supports basic and applied research, promotes the training of the next generation of researchers, and encourages partnerships between universities, government, community, and arts organizations.

ACFAS (Association francophone pour le savoir) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting research and scientific culture in French. Today, it is a major player in the French-speaking scientific community in Canada, playing a central role in promoting science, knowledge, and researchers in all disciplines.

Its mandate is to support the dissemination, influence, and recognition of French-language research, particularly in Quebec and in French-Canada, while fostering links between academic, government, community, economic sectors and citizens.
