On November 24th 2017, Mr. Frédéric Bouchard was invited on Radio-Canada Première’s radio show La route des 20 to talk about the relationship between humans and animals. M. Bouchard argued that from an evolutionary standpoint there is no hierarchy of living organism on top of which would sit the human being. Using examples from butterflies, elephants and even plants, he illustrated that contrary to common beliefs, humans are not the pinnacle of evolution and that organism are well adapted to the environment the way we are to ours.
