Le 23 septembre 2016 (rediffusé le 7 février 2017), Radio CBC diffusait l’entretien de Frédéric Bouchard (avec David Gutnick) dans l’émission « Ideas » animée par Paul Kennedy. L’entretien, intitulé « The Philosopher’s Walk with Frédéric Bouchard », présente au grand public les recherches de Frédéric Bouchard en philosophie de la biologie et de l’écologie sous la forme d’une balade-discussion à travers le marché Jean Talon à Montréal (Québec). Les questions abordées durant l’émission portent sur la nature de l’espèce humaine et son statut vis-à-vis des autres espèces, l’individualité biologique, etc.
